Online or in-person lash course: which is right for you?
What video lessons do well, what only hands-on practice can teach, and how to combine both to learn faster.

Lash training is available both as video courses and as classes in a studio. Each format has real strengths, and the best results usually come from combining them.
What video lessons do well
- Theory at your own pace: lash anatomy, choosing lengths and curls, hygiene and aftercare. You can pause, rewatch and come back before every new client.
- Close-up demonstrations: a good video shows the angle of the tweezers and the placement of each lash closer than you could see standing next to a teacher.
- Learning from anywhere: you do not have to travel, and you can study around work or family.
What only hands-on practice teaches
- Feedback on your own hands: a teacher sees how you hold the tweezers, how much adhesive you take and where you lose time, and corrects it on the spot.
- Working on real people: a live model blinks, her eyes may water, every lash line is different. A mannequin cannot prepare you for that.
- Confidence: finishing your first full sets under supervision is what makes you ready for paying clients.
How to combine them
Watch the theory and demonstrations first, so you arrive at the studio already knowing what to do. Then use the practical day to work on models with the teacher beside you. After the course, go back to the videos whenever a question comes up.
What to look for in any course
Small groups, practice on live models, a teacher who works in the profession, clear lessons you can rewatch, and a certificate at the end.
Our courses bring both together: video lessons in your personal account and practice in small groups. See the courses or ask us which format suits you.
